Regarding electronic subscriptions:

Subscribers to electronic content must sign an electronic license before their subscription will be activated. This is not an automated process, and will be completed during the business hours of the journal, listed above.

Individuals who purchase electronic subscriptions set their own user name and password, on the electronic license. A user name or password should be one word (no spaces), is case-sensitive, and should include only letters and numbers (no symbols).
